I am lucky enough to live very near to a designated AONB – Cannock Chase Forest. If the government goes ahead with plans to sell off Englands ancient forests chances are they will be closed off to the public – or worse, turned into golf courses and holiday villages. PLEASE don’t let this happen – show your support and sign the petition TODAY !

After contacting my local MP about the ‘forest sell-off’ I am somewhat relieved to have received a positive response. However, as in all things of this nature – we will have to wait and see…

This has been bugging me ever since the product was released – enough that I now have to have a little rant !
Dettol – they do make very good products…..but they’re now selling a soap pump that you don’t have to press to use – it works on motion sensor so you don’t put all your nasty germs on the pump thing. OK. Good idea …
But – their soap is supposed to kill all bacteria and germs isn’t it? So if you get a few extra off your pumpy bit, won’t it wash off?
Think on this…..you may not put extra dirt on your soap pump but what about your taps? They don’t turn on by motion sensor, you have to use your dirty germ ridden fingers to turn them on and then when the soap has washed all those nasty bacteria away…..you turn the tap off. And what did you just put ON the tap???
Think again makers of Dettol LOL!
