If you recall my artwork of a while ago based on my favourite view along our canal towpath, I have now done a Winter version as I was able to get some good reference photos a couple of weeks ago as it snowed on our Sunday morning walk 🙂

So, here’s my recreation….

And here’s one of the photos that I took to use for reference. The fence isn’t visible in the photo, but rest assured that is IS there, just out of shot.

Just in case you don’t recall (or missed) my earlier artworks inspired by this lovely view – here’s a link to the post

One of my favourite TV dramas is “Midsomer Murders”. I’ve watched it since the first episode which was more than 20 years ago.

I recently made a postbox to include in a Christmas image that I had in mind, and just for fun, made a fakey information label.

This was the catalyst for this year’s offering. Instead of the usual jolly, festive scene, I decided instead to go for the macabre, in honour of the programme. Those who watch, or are familiar with it will get it straight away. Those who don’t may have to look a little more closely.

Either way, I’ll take the opportunity in this post to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, and hope it doesn’t end up like this one 😀 See you all in 2020!

A new Winter scene.  I did this at the end of December 2017.

e-on Picture of the Day

Yes, I know, it’s February now, but I did create this scene on January 30th so the title stays 🙂
